Give Festus a Chance

During last Saturday’s visit to Brother Wolf, I also had the opportunity meet Festus. He has been at the shelter for a very long time.

I believe I understand a little better why he has been passed over. Festus is a large dog. He had a very intelligent look in his eyes and was dying to play. He jumped high into the air, maybe four feet. If you were locked in a small kennel for most of your day, you would be anxious for a long walk too!

Festus seemed to be the perfect dog for an active family with older kids. Or, singles guys listen up – an active guy who would like a hiking buddy. I will tell you guys a little secret: most women LOVE dogs. Festus has an unusual look (one brown eye, one blue eye) that will reel in the ladies.

If you are looking for a chick magnet, drop by Brother Wolf and meet Festus. With any luck, he will finally find a home.
